We are so pleased to announce that Jessica Fries-Gaither, current Albert Einstein Fellow at the Library of Congress and teacher/writer extraordinaire, will be the first presenter for the NJSTA Rockstar Science Series for 2024-25!
Jessica will highlight key scientific practices to get students documenting their thinking in the elementary science classroom. The presentations will introduce you to topics that Jessica explores in her professional book, Science Notebooks in Student-Centered Classrooms, and her children's books Notable Notebooks, Exemplary Evidence, and Wild Wonderings. Jessica's presentations will kick off the Rockstar Science Series focused on NGSS alignment at the elementary level, but teachers of all grade levels are welcome!
Sessions are on Wednesday, January 29th and February 5th
Learn more about Jessica at https://www.jessicafriesgaither.com/
The sessions are FREE for members, but $15 for non-members.

We hope to see you there!
