We know that science does not happen just in the classroom. Sometimes we are able to bring our students on field trips. Have you ever wanted a field trip for you to explore the science for yourself? We will be exploring place-based learning by visiting different locations here in New Jersey. Let’s share our love of science experiences and connect with other science teachers to have some fun enjoying the amazing science in New Jersey.
We are planning to visit no or low-cost locations about once a month. The goal is to network in person, explore science in New Jersey, and have fun! Please note that this is an opportunity to meet and have fun exploring science and not a formal professional development presentation, we will not be presenting PD certificates for this event.
On our first science teacher field trip will be exploring this phenomena: Monarch butterflies gather in and migrate through Cape May, New Jersey in the fall. Join us at the FREE Monarch Festival at the NJ Audubon Nature Center in Cape May on October 1, 2023.
Let us know if you plan to attend so we can connect!
