Fueling Education Discovery Education Challenge

Solve Real World Problems 
With the CITGO Fueling Education Student Challenge!

In partnership with Discovery Education, CITGO is excited to announce the launch of their NEW Fueling Education Student Challenge now open to students in grades 5-8! Encourage your students to make a real-world impact and start exploring solutions to some of the world's toughest challenges today.

The Topics: Students may work individually or in groups up to 4 people, to solve a problem in their community that aligns to one of four United Nations Sustainability Development Goals:

     1. Safety & Well-Being
     2. Quality Education
     3. Sustainable Cities & Communities
     4. Life on Land  

The Criteria: Students must submit a 1-2 minute video detailing the identified problem and their STEM solution. Don't forget to use the classroom resources dedicated to helping students brainstorm for the challenge. Students have until February 13, 2020 to submit! 

The Prizes: Encourage students to start thinking about their solution today for the chance to win $20,000! Learn more about the prizes here.
