Wednesday September 22nd at 7:00 PM as EPS hosts Dr. Sean Gulick of University of Texas Institute of Geophysics.  His talk is titled

Life and Death by Impact: Drilling for Clues

Sean was the lead scientist that drilled and recovered the rock/sediment record from the Chicxulub impact crater.  He has been involved reconstructing the geologic processes, environmental effects, and habitability that resulted from the Cretaceous-Paleogene Chicxulub meteor impact.
