Opportunity for Middle School Science Teachers: Funded research study

7 Oct 2026 2:47 PM | Anonymous

The U.S. Department of Education funded the University of Missouri to develop a video game for middle school science education. Mission HydroSci (MHS) teaches students (appropriate for grades 6-8) about water systems and scientific argumentation.

Teachers will be compensated for participating in our study. Eligible participating teachers will receive a $1,000 stipend. The project involves a 9-day impact study with their classrooms, a 2 to 3 hour online self-paced training and a 30-minute post implementation interview.

This flyer provides details of the evaluation and how to participate.
