Come join us for a fun day during the NASA 2nd Annual Conference for K-12 Teachers in AI, Machine Learning, Space Weather, and Cyberinfrastructure @ NJIT on June 4, 2026, from 9 am-3 pm. You will have opportunities to talk with Apollo 13 Astronaut Fred Haise, NASA Heliophysics Education Activation Team Director Michael Kirk, and interdisciplinary curriculum expert Rebecca Goldstein to learn how to integrate AI, Machine Learning, Space Weather, and Cyberinfrastructure into your curriculum.

There will also be a special showcase for students who have done any AI Projects, a chance to do your own sun observations with NJAG, and a Space Science Microbit PD with John Brown (Passaic School). Ted Samaras (Franklin Schools) and Margaret Menichella (Passaic Schools) will talk about integrating Space Weather into social studies lessons, and Caroline Salters (East Orange Schools) and will talk about having their students publish about Space Weather and Data in IEEE - with their students presenting!
