My name is Austin Moore. I’m conducting a dissertation study at Boston College focused on how secondary science teachers use Generative AI in their instructional practice. I’m currently recruiting teachers to participate in an online survey.

In this study, participants will complete the online survey, which should take about 15-20 minutes. To be eligible, participants must be 18 or older and currently secondary science teachers (grades 6-12). No GenAI experience is required to participate.

Participation in this study is completely voluntary, and teachers are free to stop at any time. Those who complete the survey can opt in to a raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card. I hope to use the results of this research to inform future policies on GenAI use in classrooms.
