Call to Action for SCIENCE EDUCATION Survey
The importance of science for the well-being of humanity and the planet has never been more clear. In recognition of this, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is convening a committee to develop a Call to Action for Science Education. The committee will identify key steps the nation can take in order to prepare students to face the global challenges of the future, both as engaged participants in society and in their careers.
The report of the committee will outline recommendations for state and national policy makers and education leaders to support equitable, productive pathways for all students to thrive and have opportunities to pursue careers in science and related STEM fields.
NSTA is assisting NASEM by collecting information from a survey that will be used to gain critical insight from stakeholders to inform the work of the Call to Action for Science Education.
