The Peck School, a coed, K - 8, independent school in Morristown, NJ, seeks a full-time middle school science teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have broad content knowledge, extensive technology skills, and a proven track record inspiring young learners through hands-on investigations and lab work. Candidates should be excited by the prospect of developing innovative programming and student experiences. Opportunities to serve as an advisor and a coach are also available.

Middle School Science Teacher

Gill St. Bernard's is searching for a full-time middle school science teacher to begin in August 2023. Requirements for the position include a passion for working with middle-level learners, a science degree/background, a high degree of cultural competency in conjunction with the school’s DEIB practices, skilled at meeting the needs of different learning styles, and a willingness to collaborate across and between divisions. Candidates should also have a love for the outdoors and be enthusiastic about embracing and utilizing the school's diverse property.

Responsibilities:

Full-time teaching responsibilities in the Middle School
Student Advisor
Sponsor a club[s] in the Middle School
Regular Middle School duties, such as carline and/or recess duty
